Focus ST225/RS305 Cylinder Head Upgrade - Ported & Polished

Ford Focus ST225/RS305 Cylinder Head:

Ford Focus ST225/RS305 Improved/Custom Cylinder Head - including 'taping' which is a hand finish. These units are on EXCHANGE only for a suitable undamaged Cylinder Head which must be delivered at your own cost prior to the new Cylinder Head being dispatched.

Ford are on a winner with this engine; where every other hot hatch has a 2 litre 16 Valve with or without a Turbo, Ford come along with a fantastic 5 cylinder 2.5 Turbo with variable valve timing. Great power and torque and a brilliant 5 cylinder sound. Allied to the excellent Focus chassis its a real winner.

As standard, this head is pretty good with a high inlet/exhaust ratio of 87% . We were able to improve this further to 94% with a healthy 16% inlet increase and an all important (for a turbo) 24% increase on the exhaust side.

With the right turbo and intercooler set up this head can deliver in excess of 700BHP with excellent torque and improved turbo response over standard. Because the head flows 24% better on the exhaust side than standard you will see improved turbo response and a reduced turbo lag. A larger turbo will also be better served by this head.
